Quick Needed Update!

SO! Here we are!

As you could probably tell, I haven’t blogged here in a WHILE! I haven’t had anything to blog about, however, one thing came to my mind recently.

I don’t need to have a certain thing to talk about!

However, today I did want to share something specific. I am going to start transitioning to posting mainly on here, BlueSky, and Youtube.

What does this mean for the accounts I already have in other places?

They’ll still be there! I’ll keep them up as an archive, kind of like my cosplay Instagram profile! I would love to not post on there at all, but we’ll see how this goes!

I just know that Meta is NOT a good company, and I want to start taking the small steps needed to not use those apps as much. Plus the doom scrolling is not good for many reasons. Sure, it stimulates your brain, however, it also replaced pretty much all my hobbies. So, over the past year I’ve already deleted TikTok and twitter, and so Instagram is the next app to go! You can use Instagram on your computer, so if I want to see what’s going on on there, I can!

I have also started to be more creative now that I have started to be on social media less, and it is helping SO MUCH!! I’m getting more ideas for projects, reading and gaming more, and spending more time outside! That’s right, I’ve been actually touching grass? There’s no way! It also helps that it’s getting warmer! There was a LOT of snow where I live, and at the beginning of February it FINALLY all melted! The relief I felt when I pulled up into my parking spot and there was no ice was unbelievably high! So there will be for sure a lot more walks in 2025!

Basically, I’m trying to spend less time off my phone. I’ve had a phone since I was 12, and I’m almost 22! Some could consider phone usage as an addiction, and I would definitely be one of those people addicted to their phone. Starting the process of deleting social media apps has helped screen time decrease, but I know that’s not for everyone. Sometimes it’s the only way to talk to someone they know! But I would love to keep sharing my experience on here, while posting about regular degular things too!

So from now on, anytime I have the urge to post, I am gonna aim to do it on here, or on BlueSky! Hopefully I will have other places to list over time where you can find me, but let’s just set up the main two first!

Anyways I’m gonna get ready to go see my kitty, I miss him a lot (and my boyfriend too, haha!)
