Photography

Coley Rose has loved taking pictures since she was a kid. With her mom taking photographs throughout her whole life, it inspired her to start learning herself. She would take pictures on her DSi, on her parent’s phone, her school tablet, basically any device she could get her hands on. During high school, she borrowed her mom’s digital camera to continue practicing her skills. Then in 2022, she was gifted her own digital camera, and the rest is history. She is learning how to improve her skills every day, and is hopefully to see how her photography journey goes.

Based in the STL area, Coley likes to explore different elements of the photograph, such as texture, color, and space. Her photos are a mix of composed and spur-of-the-moment, sometimes with elements of both in the image. She enjoys taking photos of everything and anything. From toys to signs to mother nature herself, she believes everything deserves to be photographed. Not only because things can look nice, but to capture the memory of that moment. She practices portraits with herself as a subject as well, but is wanting to explore different portrait types with different subjects.
